Our vision is to equip and enable God's servants to and from the majority world for effective cross-cultural ministry. Just like a surveyor's transit is used to measure and guide a potential project, IICC is involved in missions research, studying the depths of cultures while surveying the landscape for effective cross-cultural ministry. IICC offers consultation and training based on this fresh perspective. Mission leadership is formed on the basis of this unique vantage point. The three legs on which the transit stands represent the three programs used by IICC to communicate God's truth in every culture. The oldest of the three programs of IICC ministries is WorldView Institute, spanning over four decades. WorldView Institute’s purpose is to facilitate relevant training for cross-cultural missionaries to and from the Majority World. The training is non-formal in nature and typically is offered in the form of workshops and intensives, sometimes lasting up to a month.
WorldView Institute’s training programs are offered both in strategic places around the world and at IICC’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon, where the participants reside at WorldView Center .
